How many politicians win or lose… because of their voice?
Oct 03, 2025It’s an unfortunate fact: a political candidate can lose a race simply because their voice is annoying.
We have all seen it happen. Clips go viral of a candidate sounding shrill, too loud, or unsupported, and suddenly the public has the “ick.”
The truth is, tone shapes perception. Even if the message is strong, if the voice doesn’t land, the audience tunes out.
That’s why I work with my clients (leaders, executives, and public figures) on mastering vocal agility.
Being able to shift instantly from:
Excited → to Warm
Convincing → to Authoritative
This kind of anatomical vocal control isn’t just a “nice to have.” It’s essential. It allows your message to be heard, received, and remembered.
Because in politics (and in leadership), your voice can make or break your influence.
