Precision Conducting

Dr. Tim Sharp

Precision Conducting: The Seven Disciplines for Excellence in Conducting is a sequenced approach to the many musical and extra-musical conducting skills. Rooted in practical choral pedagogy. Exercises and tips to promote the kind of focused, dedicated study that conducting requires.

The seven disciplines: analyzing the score, internalizing the score, marking the score, planning the rehearsal, rehearsing the rehearsal, conducting the score, and researching the score build on each other to continually reinforce earlier disciplines.
