Building Trust is Job #1

The First Day:

  • Shake, Rattle and Roll - Playing fun music as they enter the room and moving directly into physical warmups is essential.
  •  Never underestimate the power the donut!  - Teach note values in the first meeting.
  • Warmup with Rounds - But not just any round!  Customize to fit your ensemble.
  • The importance of the first choral piece you pass out - The “right” piece can make or break the impression your ensemble has of you…pick wisely.
